Being dually qualified as a solicitor and French avocat, Ray focuses on international business law, litigation, arbitration and cross-border commercial and corporate transactions for small and medium sized enterprises. He also advises on trusts.

Ray started his legal career in the UK where he practiced company law and international commercial litigation at a regional law firm in South Yorkshire and in London.

He moved to France in 1995 and has since practiced between Paris and London advising mainly ex-pats and companies having cross-border legal issues.

Ray obtained a law degree at Nottingham Trent University before completing the Legal Practice Course at Chester and qualifying as a solicitor. He has a DESS in private international law from the Sorbonne University and became an avocat at the Paris bar in 2002. He is also a registered expert in translation and interpretation at the Court of Appeal of Paris.
